How Was Your Day?

I just came across this great free printable from Silverbox Creative Studio via Jennifer Stuart's pinterest. It is intended for children to fill out when they come home from school but I think it could be a great way to track how I'm feeling and what I've learned each day.

Sorry this is a couple weeks late everyone but at least you can get 11 months of use out of this 2011 planner. Last year's planner was pretty popular, I hope you enjoy this year's calendar just as much. I made some changes to the layout and included photographs I took during 2010 so let me know what you think.

Tip: For double-sided printing, Set your printer to 2-sided printing then to print on long edge.

It's been awhile since I've done whipped up a free download and forgot how much I enjoyed putting them together. This meal planner is as much for all of you as it is for me. I'm the Thanksgiving dinner host in my family and my head has been swirling with ideas for the meal. I know I need to get it all down on paper before I forget some of things that I want to make. The meal planning process will be just a little it more enjoyable with this pretty worksheet.

In case anyone noticed, yes I did let my 1 year "blog anniversary" come and go with out any pomp and circumstance. I was trying to hold off having a celebration until I had some news but it looks like big changes to Design Evolution won't be coming until the new year. Look out for a design overhaul, new topics, refined content, and more. Until then, I wanted to say thank you to the readers who have stuck with me for this first year of getting my footing and finding my place. As a token of my appreciation, I created a free 2010 planner download for you, my lovely readers.

The pages of the pdf are set up so that when you print it double-side and fold in half all of the months will be in the correct order. I recommend using 1 sheet of card stock for the cover so that it is nice and sturdy. Enjoy and feel free to print out a bunch to give as gifts to friends and coworkers.

Helpful Tip: If you are attempting to print this planner double-sided and the pages are printing so that one page is upside down in reference to the other check your printing properties and make sure it set to print Landscape and select "Flip on Short Edge". This option can either be found in the Layout or the Finishing Tab.

Free Download - Holiday Cards

Now that Thanksgiving is over I can start focusing on Christmas, my brain can only deal with one holiday at a time. First item on the list is getting those holiday cards in the mail. Since I have a lot of friends that celebrate holidays other than Christmas I usually skip the Merry Christmas cards and stick to those that say Happy Holidays. If you do the same I created some sweet and simple holiday cards that you can print out to your hearts content.

Free Download - Fall Plaid Napkin Wraps

I created these cute plaid napkin wraps to use on my Thanksgiving table and I thought I would share then with all of you. Just print out on some nice heavy weight paper, wrap around napkins, and tape closed. There is space available to write in guests names so the napkin wraps can also double as place cards. Just a little note, the colors got a little over saturated when I created the image below, they're much nicer in the actual pdf that is available for download.
