Spotted: Wallpaper by Numbers

James and Emma, the husband and wife design team behind Ninteenseventythree, have recently introduced produced this great wallpaper that you can colour in for yourself.

Jon Burgerman Colouring-in Wallpaper

Nineteenseventythree is a UK based company selling their products all over the UK including The Ikon Gallery in Birmingham, London Graphic Centre, Tate galleries in London and Liverpool, and Oliver Bonas in London. They retail at £40-£45 per 1000cm x 52cm roll(roughly $64 - $72) and can currently be purchase online from the Nineteenseventythree online shop. While this wallpaper would look awesome in a grown up space I really love it for a child's bedroom. What could wouldn't love the opportunity to draw all over their walls?

Spotted: Period Light Fixtures

If you follow me on Twitter you probably heard me squealing with delight upon the arrival of my new camera.  It's not often now that I leave the house with my new camera especially on my daily dog walks.  It's funny, when you have a camera on your arm you seem to notice small details that you may have previously overlooked.  On one of my recent walks I noticed some of the many great period light fixtures on the buildings around town.

I will definitely be keeping these pictures in my inspiration files for future my future home.  I'd love to have a similar period fixture at my front door.  I've been shopping around Rejuvenation and School House Electric but don't see lights quite like any that are pictured above.  If you can suggest somewhere else I might want to try searching I would really appreciate it.  Especially if they carry anything like the lights in the last photo, how fabulous are they?

Spotted at the Matthew Quinn Collection Showroom

Alrightie gang, I need your help.  I spotted this amazing rug in a photo of the Matthew Quinn Showroom from the May issue of Metropolitan Home and need to know who sells it.  I did some investigation work with my trusty assistant Google but the search was not very fruitful.  I thought the pattern had a Madeline Weinrib feel but don't think that is the designer.  Does anyone know where I might be able to find this frantastic rug?  I'm sure one of you smart cookies has an idea.

Update: Kelly Hamilton the manager of the Matthew Quinn Collection showroom contacted me with more information about the rug pictured above.  It turns out that the rug is a custom design created by Matthew Quinn himself.  The rug can be purchased from the showroom and can be made any size or color scheme to complement any décor.

If you are interested you can contact the showroom at (404) 974-3560.  The Matthew Quinn Collection showroom is located in Atlanta, Georgia and is open to the public so if you are in the area and would like to pay them a visit the address is 349 Peachtree Hills Avenue, Suite B-5-A, Atlanta, GA 30305.
