Among the many product pitch emails I receive there is the occasional gem. EKLA Home creates handcrafted upholstered furniture using natural latex rubber, organic wool batting, FSC-certified hardwoods and non-toxic stains. The Chester sofa features Ecotextile's Northern Lights bamboo/organic cotton velveteen and ottomans and pillows are upholstered with Fabricadabra's organic cotton cheeky ikats and Dutch wax print. Launched in 2007, EKLA home is located in Santa Monica, CA and focuses on creating the highest heirloom quality non-toxic upholstered furniture. I love the clean, simple lines and the responsibly sourced materials.
