Laura Ashley Wallpaper

Flipping through a magazine this morning I come across wallpaper in what I like to call "modern floral" prints in interesting color ways. I was surprised to read the footnote and see that the patterns were from Laura Ashley Wallpapers. I must admit I was still holding on to the idea that Laura Ashley was somewhat old lady and was probably the last place I would think to shop for wall coverings. I'm happy to say that I learned a little lesson about looking in unexpected places when pulling together a room design.

    I have the same initial reaction to Laura Ashley...but those patterns are great. I especially love the first one.

    hey michele tks for the update on laura ashley. dig the new look for LA- the first thing i think of is those cutesie pastel florals in the 80s, quite a difference... very fresh and a bit moody. ox t
