Doodling Update

Class #2 has come and gone. My teacher has diagnosed my friend and I as "outliners". I've decided that it is not possible no draw with charcoal on newsprint and not draw a heavy outline around all of the objects on the page. So there teach!

I think I'm finally getting a grip on this perspective thing. I'm slowly figuring out how to draw a book and have it actually look like it's laying on a table. It's a lot harder than it sounds.

  2. This is awesome! My next class in Art school is drawing and I'm really nervous. I have no drawing skills at all! I know it's not going to be close to this at all. :-)

  3. Lori,
According to my teacher drawing is a technical skill that essentially anyone can be taught. Artistic ability comes into play when choosing a subject and the composition.
