Aside from the tray table there won't be too much actual furniture coming into the room. Instead a beautiful, soft rug will be the perfect place to lounge on a sea of floor pillows. I included a lot of elements made from natural woven materials to provide a neutral back drop for the patterned rug and assortment of colorful pillows. The room gets great light so we'll bring in a lot of green plants. The room already contains a built in bar/entertainment center but currently it looks rather dated. To bring it up to date we plan on painting and lining it with the gorgeous orange damask wallpaper. And lastly, since this is a room that is meant to foster creativity, we'll create a wall full of framed art that is curated over time. Wouldn't you love to relax in this room, bang on some bongos, or play the piano?

A Boho Music Room
A really hip and fun client came to me for help decorating a room in her home that at the present time has no true purpose. She already has a living room that she actually lives in and had no desire for this room to become the formal living (you know the kind no one goes in unless it's a holiday) that it was originally designed to be. Instead we decided this room would make an excellent music room, a place where friends can relax, jam, and have a great time.
