Fabricadabra - A Story, A Person, A Culture, Behind Every Fiber

It's no secret that I love a great throw pillow so when a company is able to take that pillow and make it a fun, non-toxic, ethically sourced and affordable product I'm on board. Fabricadabra creates and sells decorative pillow inserts that are filled with kapok and have an organic cotton shell. They are constructed in the United States and are a healthier and environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic, feather and down pillow inserts. For those who have never heard of kapok, it is mold, mildew and dust mite resistant, completely renewable, grown without pesticides, light as air and odorless.

Along with the decorative pillow inserts, Fabricadabra also offers a line of decorative pillow covers that are all made from natural fibers using natural or low impact dyes. Most of the covers are handwoven and naturally dyed. They also carry some pillow covers made from vintage fabrics and some that which are digitally printed on organic cottons.
