Just about this time every year I begin longing for Spring and wanting to stock up on all things blue and white. I've always been a sucker for a navy and white striped shirt but throw in a boat neck and three quarter sleeves and I must have it. If you ask me it is the perfect wardrobe staple that can be styled a little nautical with wide leg jeans and wedges or a bit more Parisian with skinny ankle length pants and cute ballet flats. Someone made a crack on twitter lately about the striped shirt being the bloggers uniform and it made me laugh out loud.
The tote, shirt, and pillow in this second grouping are more affordable option to those I included in the first collection. The tote is from the etsy shop reiter8 and is made from a recycled sail, it doesn't get more awesomely nautical then that.
What's on your wish list for Spring? Are there any trends you're loving that you can't wait to snatch up?

I LOVE blue & white- it really is one of those classic combinations that you can wear year after year.
ReplyDeleteI love these picks. Especially those in the top.
ReplyDeleteI don't actually look good in navy and white stripes, but I still want to wear striped shirts each spring.
Nichole, I find hard to believe that you look bad in anything but I'll take your word for it. Instead you can rock your favorite long sleeve T and a striped scarf wrapped around your neck. Throw a trench on top and you have a perfect look for Paris in the Spring.
ReplyDeletelove the blue tote...and the perky umbrella!

ReplyDeleteAmy, that bangle was the Lucky deal of the day about two weeks ago. 50% off, I couldn't resist I had to get it.
ReplyDeleteI love nautical, I am even working on a nautical inspiration board right now. Sometimes I think you and I have Jedi mind meld! My first striped shirt like that I bought in h.s. from Liz Claiborne men. I lived in it! And that sail bag and the Thomas Paul Whale Pillow are two of my faves.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, love the little navy rope design divider!
