I recently collaborated with photographer Diana Brennan to create a room design inspired by one of her photographs. I was drawn to this Still Pond photograph and this modern room design quickly evolved around it.
The most fun part of this project is that Diana has taken my room design and using Google Sketchup created a 3-D model to show how it would all look in place. Check out Diana's blog to see how it came together. This idea came to Diana after having several clients who were unable to visual a print in their space or couldn't decide what size print to order. Is this is a genius idea?!
Love it!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog, and this mood board is great! What a wonderful piece of art to work around. I'm also excited to check out Google Sketchup; I've never used it before. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteEmily, Google Sketchup is great. It is essentially a free CADD program. I'm still learning all of the ins and outs which is why Diana created the model. I did how ever create my own 3D model of the room and board chaise, I was proud of myself.
ReplyDeleteArt is great inspiration for decorating a room.
